Worry about yourself – it’s all you can control

18 Oct

The biggest favor you can do for yourself, is to worry only about yourself. You can only control what YOU do. As much as someone may be hurting themselves, or making poor decisions – you can’t change them, and you will hurt yourself by trying to help them out when they don’t respond the way you had hoped. As long as they are not hurting you, let it be, let it go.

If you do something for someone, expect nothing in return – do it out of love. If you don’t feel like you’re getting reciprocation (especially if it’s a reoccurring theme) stop doing so much, let them figure it out themselves, whatever it is.

Once you let go of what others are doing, the pressure will be removed from your plate, and you will be at ease. Love yourself, and take care of yourself; you don’t need anyone to do those things for you. It’s an evolution, and it is a freeing feeling. Set yourself free. You are all you need.

I would love to hear your thoughts
