7 Cardinal Rules for Life

7 Cardinal Rules for Life

Such true words and rules to live by. Much of your past is not your fault, don’t ‘act like it is. For your mistakes, understand where they came from, and learn from them. Forgive yourself and whoever taught you these faults.

Big thing of mine always – don’t give a shit what other people think. Follow your heart, and do what you feel.

For all of your wounds, they will heal and you will be stronger with time. Remember that first time your feelings were hurt? heart was broke? yeah…me either.

Take personal responsibility for your feelings. It’s hard, but most good things are difficult. Once we accept that only we are in control of US, things become much easier. If you are hurting, change your thoughts, change your situation, relationships, attitude, habits or whatever is needed to feel better, because only you can make those choices. Once you love yourself (as you would a dear friend or family member) and you begin to lookout and care, and listen to your own advice – then you are you.

The worse things we can do is compare ourselves to other people. We are all different and unique. Love yourself for who you are, confidence (not cockiness) is one of the greatest attributes any person can have. Happiness is contagious, be happy with who you are, and you will attract happiness all around you.

Get out of your head, and stop drowning in your sorrows, or loathing in your success. Nothing is permanent – so don’t let anything fool you into a high of high’s, or a low of low’s. The more I read, the more I continue to hear “live in the moment” – let go of the past, and stop worrying about the future. Don’t let these scars or fears affect you. Live right now! Right now! Right now! This is all that matters right now, so live here. So smile, and enjoy the ride 😀
